Pen barrel crafted from Guaiacum wood. As the name hints, Guaiacum is a tree with solid medical uses, which has won it fans in various spots. It's the national tree of the Bahamas, and in Jamaica, its flowers are the national flower. The wood from Guaiacum is crazy hard and heavy—three times the weight of the same volume of oak—and it's known as the fourth heaviest wood in nature today.Thanks to the natural Guaiac Resin in Guaiacum wood, the polished pen barrel comes out super smooth with the surface.

We'll craft the pen barrel based on the specific model you ordered. For instance, if it's the Pro Gear, we'll install a brass Sailor logo ring on the body and shape the cap with a flat top, matching the original Sailor Pro Gear fountain pen.
